Not many words today – just a series of images from a walk around the more rural Phi Phi area.

    So many water bottles

Many! Sadly, when I left the resort areas, it didn’t take much looking to find them and other discarded litters. The image with the pile of various bottles was next to a spirit house, so perhaps it gets fed/gifted daily, or perhaps a collection point?

Who knows. I wish there was something to do to slow down the production of more bottles. …. Sorry for such a random comment

Comments most welcome. Its a good valid question, Sadly the ones I saw wont even go for recycling. I remember reading an article about a town in Australia that has banned water bottles and have more water taps all over to compensate. this isn’t the article, but might be the town:

Awesome. I watched “tapped” & another one called “the life of a plastic bag” or something like that and it’s really sad. Plastic is probably the environments biggest enemy. I need to go to australia. Must visit

Thanks. Will follow them up some time. Wont get any argument from me about the bad side of plastic (etc.).
