Tin Box Roadster (three string)

TB1

I recently built a three stringer (yet to be revealed) tin box guitar for a future charity auction. I liked it so much that I decided to make a modified version for myself, the Tin Box Roadster being the final result.

Its almost all upcycled, with a toffee tin box and rimu wall joist neck. It also features a merbau fretboard, lipstick pickup and brass fret markers, skull head tuners. Although not overly loud in acoustic, it does lend itself fine for acoustic or electric playing on the full telecaster scale length.

The chrome features go great with John Gillman’s 1930 Ford Deluxe Roadster image on the front.
