1. Sort chillies into ‘type’ (optional) 2. Clean Jars 3. Slice chillies to allow pickling solution to get inside 4. In a pot, bring to boil 1L Vinegar (white or malt) 1L Water and 1 tea spoon pickling salt. 5.Pour into Jars, sit to cool and store. 6. Later, enjoy chillies!

Today marked Auckland’s Round The Bays fun run – NZ’s biggest participant run. Unfortunately a recent bug left me not feeling up to competing this year (I think my first non-participate in 7 years!). Another beautiful Saturday morning. I went for a quick stroll around Auckland’s Upper Harbour area before starting on chores. Battery on 4% (poor planning there) I still managed to get plenty of shots. Sony Nex with kit 18-55mm
