Work treated us to a day out of the office to kick back and relax. We went to the Auckland Zoo. Naturally, I took some shots.
Beyond the Track
I leave the road behind me. Sounds of society fog away as I venture deeper into the bush. Birds watch as I walk by, both of us minding our own business. The water is still. The bush is green. Beyond the Track.
Summer Sun at the Beach
Summer is here in NZ and the post Christmas iffy weather looks to be mostly behind us. A few people got the same idea to cool off at Takapuna Beach on the North Shore of Auckland today.

The Footpath Of Huntly
Huntly, the once mining town (and power station town). Sadly for them, mining is slowly coming to a close and the power station also dated for decommission.
A Day at the Park
Last weekend we dropped down to one of the local parks. Lots of radio control boat action, as well as bike action with a ride for our future awareness around the Climate Summit. Also some very cool fully electric vehicles.
