Garden Update
About a month back I posted a shot of our new vegetable garden. Today I harvested the first of the season- a courgette.
It’s crazy looking back not more than 5 weeks ago at the little seedlings, and comparing to now. I’m especially waiting for the chillies – signs of flowers beginning to show.

Running the Half
Today marked the Auckland Marathon, New Zealand’s biggest turn out marathon. As with many years gone by, I entered the half marathon. Unlike other years, I completed a big fat zero hours of training. Unsurprisingly, this left me fairly sore for the rest of the day.
This year marked the first course change in a long time – a great change it was, taking us along the motorway, along the shoreline heading to town.
For now, time to put my feet up!

Spring Garden
A day of work work, and home work. After building some new garden boxes almost a month ago, I finally got around to purchasing some garden soil and plants. Today’s little Sapling will grow into a chilli making machine – one of my more favourite summer plants.
