Daffodil Day

DD1Yesterday marked Daffodil Day in New Zealand. The days aim is to rase awareness, and funds for the Cancer Society. NZ has a stat seeing 1 in 3 of us being affected by cancer. No good.

Walking through town,we came across a wonderfully assembled field of the daffodils (pretend ones).

Urban Living in New Market

Inner City CircleA visit to the jeweller in New Market, just out of Auckland’s CBD took me past this traditional looking set of units on the edge of the shopping area, across the road from Auckland’s Domain (a large inner city green area).

Ricoh set to bleach bi-pass, I love the washed image that appeared on the screen. Aside from a minor crop, nothing else done using Gimp.
