Path to the Sea

photos and other things…
Armed with the Pentax Q and mostly its 06 lens, I took a quick stroll through Aucklands Devonport Village. Autumn in full swing, the clear day didn’t put many off a dip in the cool water as some vintage warbirds flee over in the distance.
Shots shut in a vintage filter and further tweaked in Lightroom.
Back to Mairangi Bay several days later, armed with togs and a different camera. Here in NZ we are fast approaching autumn with shorter days and cooler temps. Still warm enough to burn in the sun however…
5 cargo ships sit out in the distance, waiting for their turn to head into port.
Testing out a now aged, but nice Olympus Pen Mini 2, I took a seaside stroll along Mairangi Bay in Auckland.
Majority of shots using built in ‘art filters’ and just some casual experimental fun.
We took a New Years wander around the Auckland Museum. Armed with the Pentax Q and b&w, I gathered some still life.
Late morning one weekend the fog had not cleared, yet the sun was high in the sky. Made for some interesting well lit but limited view scenery.
