Work treated us to a day out of the office to kick back and relax. We went to the Auckland Zoo. Naturally, I took some shots.

Interesting Lemur fact – Lemur’s are a matriarchal. A very rare mammal trait (do don’t believe all you see in the movie Madagascar)
Cheeky Otters
Otters look like they have so much fun running around, in and out of water. Im told they have pretty sharp teeth and claws, but they still ‘look’ patable!
Hungry Hungry Hippo
Awesome but dangerous animals if your on their wrong side!
Springbok’s
Companions for the Rhino’s, Auckland Zoo has a small group of Springbok’s. One poor ‘Bok’ looks like it lost a horn at some stage.
